Client Care Specialist
Ever since I was a little girl, I felt the need to give something back to pets. I even recalls helping to reunite a pair of canaries at my childhood home—that moment made it clear to me just how much animals need our love and attention. For Alexia, working in the veterinary world is more than just a job. It’s my true calling!
I am a native of San Diego and began my animal-care journey at the PIMA Medical Institute, where my enrolled in the school’s AHAA-accredited veterinary assistant program. After graduation, I was placed as an extern here at SeaCoast Veterinary Group, and gladly accepted a job offer after my externship hours were completed. Now, Alexia serves the area’s pets every day as a Veterinary Assistant and Receptionist with the clinic family.
Here at the hospital, I enjoys helping to calm down anxious pets; it’s always a challenge to determine the best method for a particular animal! I also likes getting to witness adorable puppies and kittens grow into healthy, happy adult pets over time.
At home, I has two dogs of my own: Gigi, a Schnauzer, is happy as long as she is the center of attention; Kiko is extremely attached to Alexia and is only satisfied when he’s next to her.
