Originally from the Dominican Republic, Adrian moved to San Diego with his family when he was only a baby. He’s had a fascination with pets ever since he was young, and is thrilled to now work as an animal-care professional! Adrian serves as a Veterinary Assistant with the SeaCoast Veterinary Group team.
Adrian’s first exposure to the veterinary world came during his time serving in the United States Navy—he worked as a dog handler for six years. After being introduced to both the law-enforcement and medical sides of the animal-care industry, Adrian decided to choose a path that would allow him to make a direct impact on families while utilizing his unique skillset. Working in small-animal medicine was the perfect choice! He attended the PIMA Medical Institute, where he graduated from the veterinary technology program, before beginning his animal-care career as a civilian.
Adrian joined the SeaCoast Veterinary Group family in March of 2016 and couldn’t be happier. He’s particularly fond of participating in special medical procedures whenever he gets the chance. Most of all, Adrian likes soaking up as much knowledge as he can from the clinic’s veterinarians.
As it happens, most of Adrian’s family also works in the medical profession. Both of his sisters are medical assistants, and his younger brother is studying to become a dermatologist. Adrian’s girlfriend, Mia, even works as a Veterinary Assistant at a clinic in San Diego! Adrian lives with Mia and his daughter, Lyly-Rose, who is already just as much of an animal-lover as her parents. The family shares their home with three pit bulls: Rexamillion, Coco, and Mighty. In his time away from work, Adrian enjoys hiking and visiting the beach with his family. He’s also fond of trying out new restaurants around town whenever he gets the chance.
